About Me

With over 12 years of experience in the Public Relations industry, I believe in a direct approach, honest evaluations and feedback, and real results. My public relations experience runs the gamut of the beauty, health and wellness, fintech, lifestyle, apparel, consumer, technology (including blockchain), app and product launches, cybersecurity, entrepreneurship, food & beverage, and luxury industries, as well as in event planning and execution in both the B2C and B2B sectors.

Previously an Account Director at Super Connector Media, I led teams on a variety of the firm's B2B and B2C accounts, directing strategy and execution, managing client relations, maintaining responsibility for achieving client metrics, securing top tier media placements and generating brand awareness for clientele, while cultivating the skills of our junior team members. Recently I led the team in securing media attendance for the firm's largest media mixer yet, with over 150 media, held in conjunction with the company's Unfair Advantage Live event.

​As Vice President & Co-founding member of SpecOps Communications, I wore many hats; handling everything from securing new business and budgeting & managing the firm’s account direction and event programs. Instrumental in managing the firm’s client services, I directed and led the team in driving ideation, media strategy, social media strategy, content creation, message development and campaign implementation. I was often called upon in the firm for my strength in creative solutions and her ability to isolate big-picture program details, organizing them into a strategy with actionable tactics and ultimately, campaign success.

With only two months to plan, I co-created the concept and then directed the production and implementation of Freshpair's 2013 National Underwear Day event in Times Square. The event yielded over 500 million media impressions for the Guinness World Record attempt. Additionally, I directed the media coverage and attendance for the 2013 Money2020 event at the Aria in Las Vegas. The event drew media attendance across multiple verticals and markets, and secured over 1 billion media impressions.

Prior to co-launching SpecOps Communications, I worked at Lippert-Heilshorn and Associates, Inc., where I provided strategic media counsel to a diverse account base, while actively securing top-tier media placements in a wide array of mainstream and vertical based outlets. My main account focus during this time was B2C and B2B healthcare technology companies and corporate clientele. I launched her PR career with an internship at 5WPR where I was one of the few interns selected to actively pitch the firm’s accounts. I successfully secured media placements for clients such as Gurkha Cigars, Kopali Organics, SNAP Interactive, Ladies Who Launch, and Bradley & Montgomery Advertising. I also supported account teams with research, event staffing, content creation and the authoring of communication materials.

I am a member of the National and New York Chapters of the PRSA and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus in Public Relations from Kansas State University. In my free time I can be found volunteering with the nonprofit, Last Chance Animal Rescue, as a content creator, event and rescue promotor and foster mom. I enjoy spending as much time outside as possible, creating memories with my husband, daughter, and our two dogs. I'm also an avid NY sports fan and spend Sundays during football season cheering on the New York Giants.
